Roasted & Stuffed Bell Peppers
When I was little I disliked anything to do with peppers. Chili peppers, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers. I wanted nothing to do with any of it. I also didn't like garlic or onion, and hated mustard.Isn't it crazy how things change? These days I use garlic and onion in everything, I prefer mustard to ketchup and love all peppers! I buy bell peppers every time I go to the store and I love when I find them on sale, like two for $1.00. I like them in every color, each color does taste just a bit ... continue reading...

Summertime Fruit Mascarpone Tart
A special thank you to Vermont Creamery for supplying these products for this Mascarpone Tart. As always, all thoughts are my own. A few weeks ago I made this delicious summery tart. Pulled Pork Slow-Cooked in Beer
A few weeks ago my neighbor gave us a six pack of some beer. He said he got it when he did a job at this particular company, but the hops had a really strong after taste. He thought maybe we could use it. This particular beer was a pale ale, it claims to be "a hoppy American beer that commands your attention". At first taste it was a good and smooth beer. But we just didn't like the strong hop taste at the end. Big G wanted to toss them, but I had better plans. I'm not big on wasting ... continue reading...

My favorite kitchen and cooking brands are reputable and they put out products that work well with my family and the type of food that I like to feed them. More-so, when I notice a brand I already love getting behind causes that are important to me, it makes me want to sing their praises and share with everyone! A Bonus Birthday!
Today is another special day for us!For a large part of my life I was a single mom. When I met the man that would eventually became my husband, we knew from the start this time was different. Something about our relationship, it just was. It was as though we'd known each other for decades. As alike we are, we still have many differences as well. But one thing that was clear was how important our children were to us. Neither of us wanted to be involved with someone our kids didn't like. In ... continue reading...

We went on a Sunday afternoon when all the great demos are present with the taste testing in full effect.
