In a few days I’ll be heading out to one of the biggest blogging conferences of the year. I’m so nervous because I’ve never been to a conference of this size, and I want to make a great first impression. Between meeting with sponsors, seeing some of my online friends in person, the parties, and working (I’m also a volunteer!) I’m hoping I still come across as calm, cool and collected. I was so excited a few weeks ago when my longtime friend Jennifer, suggested we collaborate on a giveaway for her new venture with Stella & Dot. She sent me this lovely Stella & Dot Somervell necklace in Peach to review, and I think it’s a beautiful piece to take along on my trip.

I usually wear simple and delicate necklaces, or I wear a longer piece to go with flowy shirts so this is a great change and adds something different to my ensembles. I look forward to wearing it to one of these special events I’ll be attending in the coming days.
The packaging is fun and colorful, and even greets you with a compliment.
I love that the closure has two separate clasps, the pretty peach color is also complimentary to many summer colors.
The jewels are all beautiful and not in the least bit cloudy. They sparkle and are held down securely. The entire necklace seems well made and sturdy. I’m sure it will be just fine even with a few tugs from RoRo.
It’s really a beautiful piece of jewelry, and the peach colored jewels are lovely. I love the little stamped charm on the clasp and the gold is more of a bronze gold than a shiny gold which goes well with other jewelry and clothes.
The packaging even has some great tips on how to keep the jewelry looking new and how to take care of it for years to come.
We went to a wedding a few days after I received this piece, and I loaned it to RiRi. She paired it with a navy blue and purple color blocked dress and she borrowed my animal print heels that have the purples and blues in it to match my shoes, with other colors of yellow and gold mixed in well. The necklace was a perfect finish to a colorful and young summer wedding outfit.
