When I was little my family would always send out Christmas cards each year. We’d buy a little box of cards at the store, sometimes they were a variety pack and sometimes they were all the same. I would help my mom fill out the addresses on all the envelopes and we’d include my school picture every year to send to our family members. I enjoyed this tradition and even as I began my own family I’ve tried to continue the tradition. I’d take a Christmas photo each year with my kids, and we’d do our best to get Christmas cards sent out, sometimes I’d even include the school photos. As the years went on and Christmas would approach more swiftly, even with the best intentions I’d often forget to send cards. I’d buy them at the after Christmas sales for the following year and end up misplacing them. I’m terrible when it comes to snail mail, I’ll admit. Back in 2007, we decided to try something new. We took holiday photos in front of our tree and created the cutest set of Christmas cards through Tiny Prints. I had some friends who’d created really cute invitations for birthday parties, and Tiny Prints was the company they used. I decided to look them up, and discovered they also did some really cute holiday cards that you could customize to include your own personal photos. I love this idea! Instead of buying generic holiday cards and adding your family photos to the envelope before you send, you can just create your own customized cards and your photos are a part of the card. I think some members of my family actually experienced shock because I actually sent holiday cards!
I loved the way those cards came out, and I’ve used Tiny Prints and their products quite a few times since then. Of course we’ve had more children since then and become more busy. Sometimes it can be difficult to get all our children together for a big family photo and our youngest boys are a bit rambunctious. No matter, because you can go with a collage photo that shows some of your favorite snapshots from the past year! This year I was fully prepared to get family photos taken with all of our kids and our dogs. Time ran out and I still haven’t taken them. So instead, a few days ago I logged into my Tiny Prints account and found a simple template, added a few of our favorite photos and order the Super Rush Shipping option and received my order in just two days! It was painless and fast, and I’ll have my cards out in plenty of time for the holidays!
Not to mention I have an affinity for elephants, so the Tiny Prints logo is just LOVE to me! |
My cards came well packages, with a sample photo on the front. |
What I love about Tiny Prints is that there’s literally hundreds of designs to choose from! Since I didn’t have any traditional Christmas photos to add to my cards, I wanted something simple and low key. We have a big family and I wanted to include our dogs in the card too! The design I chose was “Happiest Highlights” in dark gray. It includes different color lettering and a simple square card. You can customize your options, change a few of the fonts and captions as well. For this card there were a few choices for the card stock, since this was a more casual and simple card I thought the signature matte would be a good choice. You can also select a custom trim, envelope liners, have your return address printed on the envelopes or labels to match. You can even have them pre print the return and recipient address or they can mail them out for you! I may just choose that option next year, because I’ve been known to buy cards and not even get around to sending them! What a convenience that would be. There’s an option where you can have a designer preview your cards as well, to ensure the color, sizing, and photo quality is up to par. I’m telling you, I love this company!
When choosing my cards I was able to “favorite” a lot of other styles I enjoyed as well. There are plenty of holiday cards that don’t add a personalized photo, and there’s even clear cards for those that want to be a little different than the norm! These are customizable with photos and text, and made of lightweight, durable, clear plastic. How fun! When my cards arrived I loved them. They were exactly what I wanted, simple, cute and showcased our family.
The cards are not thin and cheap feeling, and I love that they also have a pretty design on the back to match. I look forward to sending them out to our family!
Tiny Prints also carries so many more items than just holiday cards. I’ve mentioned they have invitations but they create items for many occasions. Baby announcements, calendars, photo books, business cards, notebooks, stamps, custom phone and tablet cases, ornaments, stationary, mugs and even custom life planners. There’s so much to choose from! In addition to the Super Rush shipping I mentioned, there’s other shipping options including standard shipping and even Super Rush Plus shipping where you will receive your order in only one day!
Some of the fancier features that Tiny Prints offers is the beautiful holiday stationary collection created by Rebecca Minkoff. The collection includes six card designs with coordinating thank you cards, address labels, envelope liners and gift tags. You can also select the Platinum Design Service where you can schedule one-on-one time with a personal holiday card designer to create a completely custom holiday design for all your stationary needs. As part of this service, customers receive a comprehensive package of holiday products including holiday cards, thank you notes, address labels, envelope liners, ipad case, premium ornament, and a 10×14 canvas, all featuring your custom holiday design!

Aww these came out too cute. I love the idea of sending out Christmas cards to my friends and family. I’d love it even more if I could personalize them. Since my husband and I don’t have kids and have four legged kids, I’ve always had the idea of somehow someway getting all five of my furkids still for a great shot. Yeah that didn’t work out so well last year so I had to give up on that idea LOL! Thanks for the opportunity to win Dawn! <3
