Ok guys, I have the perfect holiday gift if you have Minecraft fans in your home. Chances are, if you have kids between the ages of 5 and about 18 you know all about Minecraft. Maybe they aren’t playing it, but you’ve heard about it. If you have a Minecraft fan in your life, they are going to LOVE the Gameband.
As for me? All my kids are fans. Even the three year old. Of course it started with our 15 year old, lil G. He had the game and played it on his gaming system. One day he let our 5 year old, D-Man play and he was hooked! Now he has apps on my spare phones that he plays with, and he has it downloaded on both of our laptops. Even our 14 year old RiRi likes to play, and sometimes my 19 year old, Boobie, will get on and play too.
I love Minecraft. I mean, my five year old talks about it All.The.Time. But I do love it. I think it teaches kids so much. They learn problem solving, economics and the importance of setting goals. In addition, it definitely makes your kids think a lot, which is what I’ve learned from the many, many talks with our five year old. It’s also rewarding to see the work you put in to the game bring an entire world into existence. How inspiring is that? I also like how customizable it is. We don’t have ours on a server, and we limit the violence.
That being said, when I found out about the Minecraft Gameband (the Gameband belongs to Now Computing and is affiliated with Minecraft) I knew my kids just had to have it. What do we love about the Gameband Minecraft™? Read along and find out!

What’s not to love? The first-ever Minecraft wearable is also sleek. It’s thin and durable made of black rubber and decorated with redstone, one of the materials in the Minecraft game.
We picked this up at Target as an early Holiday gift over the Thanksgiving break, and it seems to be a popular item because it was a little hard to find! (Hint: check the mobile gaming section at Target!) Be sure to get it before it’s gone for your Minecraft player!
We plugged it in and got to work.

95% of the time when they are playing Minecraft, this is my view.
The entire time they played, the Gameband was plugged in. Once they were done, it was an easy save!
The Gameband is stylish and sleek!

It’s amazing how quickly a love of Minecraft can spread amongst families. My son introduced it to my daughter, and she is just as hooked as he is. At least now yours have a way to play it anywhere they “need” to, right? #client
