The JBL Reflect Sport Headphones
I feel like I need to preface this review by sharing that I have 3 teens in my house. They ALL wanted these headphones. When we were testing the headphones, it was immediately apparent that these were a quality item. They are highly comparable to other high end in ear workout headphones. My teens tell me they are better than some of the other brands they have and use often. The sound is crystal clear, no vibration or sound alterations in bass or acoustics. These are a true, in ear headphone and they are one of the few that stay in your ears thanks to the patented ear tips and they are noise cancelling as well. If you have these in, you can’t hear anything else around you and you don’t even need to turn the volume high to achieve this. What I love is the different sized ear tips to provide a perfect and comfortable fit. I have tiny ears and almost every in ear headphone is impossible for me to wear, and they are ridiculously hard to keep in. I didn’t have that problem with these at all!
- the cord is flat and tangle free
- it has a highly reflective cable for night use
- inline remote plus microphone
- the volume control
- angled, ergonomic ear tips provide a secure fit
- magnetic cable management
- clip on the wire
- extension cable
The headphones show on the front that they are made for Apple products, such as iPhone, iPod and iPad. This just means that they have been designed to connect specifically with these products and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple standards. However, they do work with android phones and tablets as well.
Here’s how JBL describes these Reflect Sport Headphones:
“Sport headphones from JBL to drive you closer to your goals. The ultimate workout partner, the Reflect combines cutting-edge style with innovative features. Providing legendary sound in a workout-ready headphones design, it puts you well on your way to achieving your athletic goals. Designed to stay secure in your ears, these ergonomic, stay-put ear-buds are engineered to withstand the rigors of your most energetic workout, delivering on the soundtrack to push you to drive harder.”
The JBL Clip Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Can I just say how shocked I was at the sound that comes from this little thing? This fun speaker fits in the palm of your hand and has a cute little clip at the top that you can use to put the speaker on a purse, backpack, laptop bag or even a belt loop. But don’t let the cute size and pretty blue color fool you, this speaker performs beautifully.
You can turn the sound all the way up and there’s no distortion, the sound is clear and precise with no surprises. I’d take this camping or boating for portable sound out of a small package for a fun time with friends. I like that you can connect either through Bluetooth or with a cord directly to your phone or tablet. You can also answer calls with the speaker and there’s a microphone built in! The speaker charges with the USB cord that comes with it, and it seems like it holds that charge forever!
Here’ how JBL describes the Clip Portable Bluetooth Speaker:
“With Bluetooth technology, this JBL Clip speaker enables wireless music streaming and phone calls when paired with a compatible device. The built-in carabiner creates a ready-to-wear design, making it easy to take the speaker on the go.
As the name implies, the Clip is meant to be mated to your backpack, bike, pants – pretty much any clip-able locale – with an integrated carabiner, so it can throw down a soundtrack for your travels. And with summer on the way, hopefully you’ll be going a few places where having a bit ofmusic (or, you know, audio books, if that’s your thing) might make a pleasant addition to your journey”
