Disclosure: I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Pull-Ups. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating. All opinions are my own.
It’s been a few weeks since I announced my position as a Pull-Ups First Flush Ambassador and I thought it’d be fun to check in and share our progress. While RoRo isn’t completely potty trained, he’s having fun with the process.
We like the comfortable softness of the Pull-Ups and the design is both fun and useful. He loves reading Lightening McQueen’s number and pointing out the zipper as well as our favorite Cars’ characters face. What I like is the wetness indicator as well as the adjustable side tabs. Because RoRo is a big boy who is also slender, the fact that we can adjust each training pant allows us to have a perfect fit which creates no leaks. The side tabs also make changing a snap if he doesn’t “go” in the potty.
Potty Training: Slow & Steady WINS the Race!
We are still taking the slow and steady route, at this time we are just allowing him to get comfortable with the training pants as well as the potty, while utilizing the fun tools on the Big Kid App as well as fun tips and tricks we’ve discovered on the Big Kids Academy via the Pull-Ups® website, as well as Facebook and Twitter. They make it so easy to start the potty training process as well as celebrate the milestones while making the process fun and enjoyable.
RoRo enjoys the independence of training pants and being able to pull them on and off while I enjoy the protection they provide. I think the songs and videos are RoRo’s favorite features, he loves to dance and sing along! While I know that for him this won’t be an overnight process, I’m glad he’s having fun while taking the steps towards being potty trained. Since he’s the baby and the last of many, I know that slow and steady wins the race. Each of my kids trained differently, but one thing I’ve learned is that when they are ready they will just do it. You can’t rush it, so we are having fun learning and getting comfortable along the way.
