Dragon fruit is honestly one of the prettiest fruits out there. It’s so unique with it’s leafy and bright exterior and freckled insides, and I love the texture of the fruit. It’s light and mild, with a texture similar to kiwi. I came across some this year and I just couldn’t pass them up, and I decided to create a unique smoothie to incorporate their taste. One of the first things to cross my mind was blackberries. I just thought the contrast between the two fruits would be a unique blend, almost like opposites coming together. Adding a few other ingredients, the return is a mild and delicious treat!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup dragon fruit
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1/2 small banana
- 1/2 cup pineapple
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup peaches
